Hi, I'm currently a freshman at Temple University's Fox School of Business and I am interested in transferring to the Applied Economics and Management program at Cornell.
Fox is a great school but is not as challenging as I had hoped, and I want to move closer to home (I'm from NY). Cornell is my ideal school, and the AEM program seems to be highly prestigious but within the realm of possibility to transfer into. I realize that a very high college GPA (3.8 and up), good ECs (confident I have those), and an exceptional essay are needed to get into AEM as a transfer, but I have some questions regarding the finer details of the program...

1) My high school grades were pretty mediocre, and I've been doing much better in college. Would it be more to my advantage to attempt to transfer as a junior if I can keep my grades very high?

2) I'm currently majoring in Human Resource Management with a minor in International Business. AEM doesn't have an HRM specialization, so which of the listed majors would be most similar to HRM? Should I consider changing my major?

3) Can anyone who got accepted into AEM tell me a little more about the program?

Any help/additional advice would be greatly appreciated!
