transferring into kelley

if you are a freshman at indiana and are thinking about transferring to kelley what kind of grades do you need? and also when do u apply?

either at end of frosh yr or end of sophomore yr. kelley is getting harder to get into. 3.0 is a must, 3.5 would be better/safer..good luck!

would u say its easier to get in there when your already enrolled at iu then it is when your applying as a senior in high school??

can i apply for kelley during or at the start of freshman year based on a new and good SAT score(2100+) + good 12th year marks(80% +)?

JKJKJK09,

The answer to this is that you can appeal as long as you have achieved either (1) the 1270 out of 1600 score, or (2) if you are at least a 3.5 GPA or in the top ten percent of your high school class. However, I do not believe you can appeal once you have started classes during your freshman year--but I would check with the school to be sure.

The form you use to appeal is located here:

mekny,
Here are the rules to get into Kelley through Standard Admission once you are at the school (it's at the bottom of this webpage)

Prospective Students: Admissions: Undergraduate Program: Kelley School of Business: Indiana University Bloomington

and yes, it is easier than getting in from high school.

I would recommend appealing if you think you have a chance at getting in. Older DS was a direct admit as a freshman last year and younger DS was not a direct admit this year. He appealed and was just told by Kelley that they're taking him as a direct admit - so it's worth taking the time to appeal if your numbers are very close to their requirements.
