I currently go to University of Delaware and am seriously considering transferring into Manhattan College. I've heard a lot of good and a lot of bad, just wondering where any current students stand on this issue?

Are you interested in studying engineering? My son is a junior studying engineering and loves manhattan college.

you will get a very good education at both places, however they are quite different. Your field of study should also play a roll. Manhattan is smaller and will give you a more intamate setting and attention. You will get a wider range of choice and more resources at UD (that’s not to say that Manhattan doesn’t have good resources). UD also has a little more reach as far as name recognition, unless you are planning on working in NYC in which case Manhattan has a very strong alum. presence and would be a plus. Both good choices. Spend some time at Manhattan when school is in session. Good luck!

Manhattan has a great history of alumni helping grads get jobs in NYC. They rely so much on this connection, that the formal infrastruture for placement is non existent. They are also very poor on placing students in internship programs. My son is going to be a senior and he had to get every one of his internships on his own. There has been no classes on interview skills or resume preparation. As I look at schools for my daughter, I’m amazed at how much better other schools are in this area.
