Transferring into NYU

Okay Ive been officially rejected by NYU. So now I have to transfer in if I want to attend (and I do). First off anyone have experience with transferring that wouldn't mind helping me? (get me on AIM: CRACKAgamer). Id also like to know how you think I could increase my chances of getting in by transferring, Ill post my stats and let me know what you think. I was thinking of retaking SATs and getting a 1400, my GPA should go up to a 90, and I could join First Aid Squad and volunteer at the hospital. I will most likely end up at Rutgers University and plan to maintain the college equivalent of straight A's. My stats are below, thanks for the help:

NJ Resident
White
GPA: 88.9 (will be around 90 - 90.5 after senior year; is about 85 without gym, etc.)
SAT: M 710 R 670 W 720 (1380/2100)
SAT IIs: Bio E: 600 Math IC: 740
Extra Curriculars: Three years of internships with doctors, two years World Language Club, Three years karate, Two years of summer jobs

If you need any other info or have any advice, feel free to IM or message me... thanks.

Retaking the SATs to only increase 20 points isnt the best idea...+ NYU doesnt want transfer applicants retaking SATs unfortunately... Concentrate on your college GPA once your actually in as thats whats most important. Also, dont slack off senior year and dont waste your summer (write a book or something)

yeah, I'd say your highschool GPA is what broke ya.....SATs....eh won't erally matter much for transfer....WORK ON THAT TRANSFER ESSAY!!!!....NYU loves to see individuality in writing...creativity is a huge plus......college GPA, college GPA, college GPA.....if you can pull a high first year GPA, they'll pay little heed to your 3.4-3.6ish highschool GPA....get involved socially in college as well...join a few clubs/intramural teams, etc.....it'll help ya both with transfer and it's a great way to make friends

yeah college gpa and extracurriculars in college i mean its pretty obvious. Theirs really nothing you can do but just have a normal first year of college that will really help you. Just make sure you do well...
