I was recently accepted to Penn State-UP as an economics major into the College of the Liberal Arts. Since my acceptance, I have kinda realized I'd rather do something more business oriented and would rather be in Smeal. It was stupid not to apply to it in the first place but here's my question....is it possible to change to Smeal before I actually start classes? Or do I have to wait and transfer once I have completed a year or so in Liberal Arts? Do I have to reapply? Is the process difficult? I'm not even sure if I'll end up at Penn State but I'd really like to know. Thanks.

this was discussed on another thread

you can call up smeal and get more info on this directly

I read on the Penn State Facebook page that when you go for your “advising” day, you can switch it then.
Or, you can just call them now.

alright thanks for the help

just call up penn state admissions and they can put you though to an admissions counselor who can tell you if your elidgable to switch into smeal or not
