I applied to the Engineering school as a Bioengineering major. At the time, I was pretty stuck between bioengineering and EECS, but now I'm leaning much more towards EECS. If I am accepted for bioengineering, how hard/easy will it be to change my major within the school of engineering?

Very difficult. You will have to file a petition, and since EECS is compacted as well, you will have to compete again transfer students for those open spots (possibly your Berkeley GPA + personal statement versus their CC GPA and personal statement).

But if it could happen, when should I apply and what should I do?
