I am currently a freshman student at a university, however two weeks into the semester I realized the school I was at was NOT for me. I have tried sticking it out and learning to like the school, but me and the school just aren’t clicking. I have applied to my two choices to transfer to in January. My school rushes for sororities in the spring, and everyone says rushing would make it better, but it’s not the social aspect I am having a problem with. It’s the school. Am I dumb for transfering mid-year?
Would this look bad to future employers? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
This does not look bad to employers.
I agree with @happymomof1. I don’t think that employers will care. Whether this makes sense will depend upon things like the fit of the school, whether is has the major that you want and is appropriate academically, and whether the school that you transfer to is affordable.
Thank you both for your response @happymomof1 @DadTwoGirls ! I visited my top choice last week and fell in love, I will be transferring there in January.
