Hi, I’m just curious as to how it is viewed if i were to transfer for a second time I was at a 4 yr. university my freshman year, transferred to another 4 yr. university and am thinking of transferring again. Does that look bad to transfer again? Thanks for the help
Unless there’s a COMPELLING reason to do it (e.g., affordability issue bcs parent lost job, or need to be near sibling dying of cancer) it gives the impression you’re either flakey (can’t be happy anywhere) or have bad decision-making skills.
It’s mainly I’ve gotten here at school, and it’s just not what I was expecting at all and it’s just not my place, and I also find it hard to succeed in the class setting I am in because every class is huge, I would be transferring to a university with small class sizes because I find it’s the best way for me to succeed in the classroom. That’s the main reason why I would transfer
Many people end up transferring more than once. However, before you bail on the current place, you need to think carefully about why it is that you ended up there instead of some place that was a better fit for you.
What was wrong w the first 4-year college you attended?
The first 4 yr. university was just a place where my parents wanted me to go and they knew I didn’t enjoy it from the start!! I still gave it a try and just felt like it still wasn’t where I wanted to be after some time through the school year
Yeah I’ve been tryouts by to figure out that as we speak aha!

Any help here from anyone else??
What if you are unhappy at your third college?
