Does Berkeley transfer credit earned at out of state community colleges?

I live in Virginia and before I enroll Berkeley this year, I'm thinking about taking a class or two at Northern Virginia Community College.

Anyone know if it is possible?

Of course they do, transfer students wouldn't earn 60+ credits to get in, now would they?

But, you better take a look at their transfer policies. Some schools consider you a transfer if you have taken ANY college courses. Some schools require you to take 60 credits as a transfer before going in. I don't know how it works here, but you should look into it before signing up at cc.

i got accepted to Cal as a freshman.
Can i still take a course at a community college then?
