most colleges want you to complete 2 years (60 credits?) before you transfer out.

is there any way around this?

i understand that it is probably possible to transfer into a lower university without having completed 2 years, but if i were interested in transferring out of cornell into a university that is on a similar level, would i have to complete the 2 years at cornell?

thank you for your comments and advice.

why are you so determined to transfer out before you've even attended CU??

Just wondering. . . .

I actually transferred into Cornell after 1 semester at another school. I had applied to Cornell regular admissions, but got denied. I began attending Cornell during the second semester of my freshman year.
