Hi, I'm planning on transferring to colleges that rejected me in High School. What documents would they still have? Would they still have my essays/resume/etc?

Thanks

Schools generally do not save applications. It is required to re-submit everything anew.

Some retain portions of your application; some don’t. You have to check their website or call.

Do NOT re-use your essays. Didn’t get you in the first time, lol. And the school expects to see some growth in your perspective and experience from your hs essays.

Agree w/Andale, it varies with the school. For instance, 3 yrs ago Brown (which I see you’re interested in) told my D that they only kept your fr application on file if you requested that they do so in the spring after fr decisions.

Thank you for the replies!

Quick question: I know you said not to re-use essays, which I agree is a terrible idea…But would they still have my essays (I know Duke keep HS records, but not sure about essays)? There are some aspects of it that I would like to reuse but I’m not sure if they’d like that if they still have my old essays.
