transferring question

Hello all,

Current student at UH. I want to transfer to Austin. Quick question about credits:

So I passed the AP Language exam with a 3 which is not acceptable at Austin.

My question is if I can take the class again at UH even though I already have credit for it..?

If you got credit for it at UH, it should convert into an ENG class, which should transfer over.

Credit Through UH (3 or higher?)
AP -> UH ENG -> UT ENG

Credit Through UT (4 or higher)
AP -> UT ENG

A smart thing to do with ALL AP tests is send the scores to a community college so they accept most of them, then transfer ALL of them to UT, which is perfectly legal

Wow!!! That is super awesome! – thanks, props

Speaking on that subject, I took summer classes at the local community college and I got an A and a B which disappointed me. If I transferred the credit over to UH will UT be able to see that B once I transfer?

Yes they will. They can see every grade.

dang if i knew you could transfer 3s to a community college and then over to UT I would have taken way more AP tests in HS!

Does anyone know if you can still take AP tests when you are in college, maybe I could self study a few for this may

lol no, you can test out of a class with clep here at UH, but AP is only for people in high school
