I had a question about transferring into the Warrington School of Business at UF. I am going to be a sophomore this fall, but I want to transfer to Warrington. I understand that I have to go to community college in florida, but will I definitely be guaranteed admission? And I have credits at my school and will they count towards an AA degree? I go to school in a different state and I just don't want to leave my school to find out I won't be able to get in.

From what I understand nobody is guaranteed admission even if they meet the requirements. What it says is if you are coming from a Florida Public CC and an AA degree. In florida the guarantee you admission into “a” university if you receive your AA. So its not guaranteed it will be UF. Your best bet would be to call UF and ask about it.

having an AA from a state CC doesn’t guarantee admissions anywhere anymore. that ended last year, i believe.

OP, your question is unclear. you’re going to a university in a different state?
you can just apply to transfer

@aforautumn well there is a community college near me, SCC, that guarantees admission to UCF after 2 years. Im pretty sure that is still going on. They call it “direct connect”
