As of right now i am accepted into Fordham University at Lincoln Center however, i want to go into business administration and i was wondering if i could switch to Gabelli with a Business Administration major without them rescinding my acceptance. Furthermore if i do this will they take away the grant/financial aid money they already have "awarded" me with?

Final question if i do stay at LC, and just do a Economics Major and a Business Administration Minor would that be detrimental in trying to get into a good Business school for my MBA for Business Administration. Any info is helpful.

I’ve seen this question before. I would advise you to contact admissions right away to see if you can transfer before starting school. It is better to get into the business school as early as possible so that you can complete all of the courses required in 4 years or less. The business school has a different liberal arts core so some of the courses you would need for LC are not required for Gabelli. If you can’t get the transfer accomplished before the fall you can do it for the spring. You would need about a minimum C+ average and need to attend a lecture and get signed transfer forms from certain deans to get it done, but it’s not difficult to do. Also, when my son did it his scholarship was not affected.

I’m sure you could get into many great MBA programs with an economics major. It’s really about what you want to study.
