What happens if one of my major requirements is a science series
Planned transfer to UCLA, UCB, UCI, UCSD

But right now I'm probably barely passing Physics 1 and I'm worried that I might not pass it, last day to drop with W is this Friday

Its required for my major, It would be the only class I'm missing

I'll have my IGETC Finished by Winter Session and I have a 3.9gpa Currently (UC Transferable)

I've signed TAG For several schools like UCI
And I currently have finished 59 units (Not Including Fall)

What happens if I miss this one major requirement class?
Will I get rejected?

I Also have a lot of extra curricular activities
Such as volunteering 100 hours, got a certificate
2 Semesters on Deans Honor List
Working at School as a Computer Lab Assistant

(My Major is also Computer Science) So the Lab Assistant should help

I've been in a school club, and treasurer for two semesters now

I think I can pass with a C if I incredibly study for the next 2 tests + Final
But this class is really tough, I should've taken Chem :( Since I was better at it

Any Suggestions, I just want to know about the dropping Issue with a W and being able to transfer

Wouldn't that hurt my chances of getting in

If I drop physics 1 with a W, and take chemistry I'll be missing one major requirement
because I have to take a science series
Physics 1 -- > Physics 2, etc
If I drop Physics 1
and take Chem 101 in spring
I'll be missing Chem 102 major req

Thats the only one though

Wouldn't that basically cut my admission for not finishing sciences?

I'm also going to talk to a counselor at UCI to see what they think, maybe they'll let me through a summer course hopefully

a few W's are not gonna hurt you. but you need to understand that UC Admissions are gonna pay close attention to your Fall 08 grades. If I were you, I would try my butt off and get a C! seriously, C is not going to kill you honey! My bf got a C just before he transfered! (he is now attending USC)
