im a freshman at university of houston and i want to transfer next year. how does the bauer college of business rank? do i have to retake the SAT again to get a better mark? what other things do i have to prepare for submission?

the following are the universities i want to apply to:
georgetown
syracuse
usc
boston u
illinois uc
university of washington
boston c

i want to know from the above universities which ones have the highest transfer acceptance rate, gpa requirement, sat requirement. also any other good business undergrad universities that have a good transfer acceptance rate?

im not too sure about my high school gpa because i didnt go to high school in us. lastly, if i got accepted from a university in high school but i opted not to go there and im applying again for the same university, will it give me an advantage? i applied to boston u and they accepted me but only general studies and not business. so if i apply for business will it help that they accepted me once already?

The answer to your last question is that it is a good sign that BU accepted you previously - means you meet their standards. Impossible to predict on that basis for sure whether they'll take you as a transfer.

As Mirc implied the answers to most of your other questions require research - most easily done with the two url's he provided and/or the college websites. You can't expect someone here to do that research for you.

Whether to re-take the SAT to get a better mark is a personal choice. If you want opinions on whether it would help you at a given school, you'll need to tell us your current SAT scores and the 25-75% range or median of the school(s) you're considering.

i've only taken the new one once and i got a 1560. 600 math 500 writing 460 cr. i know its not good but i never took the test before and i got killed by the vocab. i probably do have to retake it because all the universities i apply to want somewhere between 1750 to 1850. out of the above universities which one would be easier to get in/more realistic. i think this semester i can get a 3.4 to 3.6 gpa.

well if your transfering into SMG.. which is bu's business program... you might need your scores to be in at least that 1850 range... the average i think this year was around 1300 or so.. for old .. soo 1900 to 1950ish... but if you maintain a good gpa.. SMG is a place that'll reward your effort..
