So currently I go to a 4 year school called Depaul and I am HATING it. I’m not a fan of the social scene nor how the school itself is run. I’m thinking about transferring back to a community college for spring semester so that I can save money and be able to work on the weekends and such. After the 2 years at the community college, I would like to transfer back to a 4 year. Most likely UW Madison or Minnesota or by some miracle NYU (1% chance? lol). Is this stupid? Is it still possible to get into decent schools from a community college? I don’t know what to do. I just know that I wont survive the rest of the year at Depaul.
People do this all the time, so don’t worry about it!
The Transfer Advisor at your community college can help you plan your program so that you have the best chance of transferring to one of your target universities.
If it is not to late to withdraw from DePaul and get some of your money back, you might consider doing just that.
