Okay, this is my first post here, but this website seems to be promising.

I am about to finish up my first semester at a community college. I really don't like it here and was planning to transfer to my first choice university next fall (2013) and continue to take classes at the CC for spring and summer. I had already applied to this university last spring while I was in high school, but decided to go to CC to save money. I also decided to stay closer to home because I was younger than most high school graduates and didn't want to be looked at differently because of my age.

Anyways, yesterday I got a letter from the university suggesting I transfer this spring. I don't have to fill out a new application, they just "reactivate" my application from before and look at my college transcripts. I will also receive the full scholarship and financial aid package I was offered as an incoming freshman (which was a really, really great scholarship; it covered over half the overall cost per year).

The only downside I can think of at the moment is that the spring semester starts in less than two months, and I hadn't expected to move away from home or anything for nine months.

Thanks for any advice in advance.
