transferring to a smaller, better school

I'm attending Southern Connecticut State Uni. and would like to transfer to a liberal arts school. I have a 3.6 average and am in Pre-Law society, volunteer in Habitat for Humanity, have played guitar for 10 years, and have over 200 hours volunteering in Costa Rica. I know large and state schools take a lot of transfer, but what are the best liberal arts colleges I can get into. Would, say Lafayette, be too much of a reach?

Recent transfer acceptance rate for Lafayette ~20+%. I don't see why it would be too much of a reach, depending on your recs, essays, hs record and test scores.

Doesn't mean it's a guarantee, so you should also look for some others with higher transfer acceptance rates.

The "best liberal arts colleges you can get into" - we would need a little more direction from you.... location, other factors important to you.

I want to go some place on the east coast, as high as Maine and as low as Virginia. My high schools stats aren't very good, though. But, I've been told most colleges don't look at those very much in the admission process. I just need a much more personal school than a state college or large university.

ohh, sorry one more thing, i def. wouldn't mind a top notch music scene.
