Transferring to a state school you were previously accepted to?

I'll cut to the chase here - I'm a freshman at Cornell, I'm finding that my career goals are not worth the money it's costing me to go here, and I'd like to transfer to SUNY University at Buffalo as soon as humanly possible to save myself a lifetime of debt with a useless degree and instead get a free useless degree. If I were to call the admissions office and explain my situation, would they re-open my previous application or do I have to go through applying again? I also received a sizable merit scholarship - would I be reconsidered for that, or are transfers not generally eligible for scholarships?

Thank you for any guidance!

You need to get on the phone with the admissions office at SUNY Buffalo. Only the people in that office can help you with your situation.
