Transferring to a top school & financial aid...

Long story short, I attended USD for one year and transferred out to a community college for my second year of college. Without any financial help from my parents, I was really struggling to pay for tuition. Now I am taking one year at a community college, but I really want to transfer to a top school.
Here is my information:

GPA: 3.83
Major: Business with emphasis in accounting
Was involved in student govt and many other orgs at USD and this year I have a part-time job while going to my cc.

I know financial aid isn't the best for transfer students, but is there any hope for me to get into a top school and have somewhat of good financial aid package? I could go to a state school here in California, but I really want to be challenged academically and I am planning to go to law school after, so I need have a rigorous curriculum.

I am also considering Point Loma Nazarene, because it seems to offer reasonable financial aid for transfers.

Any information is appreciated !

It all depends on the school. Some treat transfers like fr for need based FA, others have limited FA for transfers. You need to go to the websites of the colleges you’re interested in and read their FA policies carefully, if you still have questions, call or email them.

Do you know which schools are better with financial aid?

reiterating what entomom said…it depends on the school’s current financial situation-to get the most realistic estimate, I would also suggest calling or email the schools. Good luck!!
