I currently attend a private college and applying to UCR, UCI, and UCD. I'm currently enrolled to have 30 units by the end of the year. Is there a minimum requirement to transfer as a sophomore? If so could I just enroll in winter and summer session to fulfill the requirement? thanks

I believe only UC Merced accepts Sophomore transfers. You’re pretty much throwing your money in the garbage by applying to UCD, UCI, and UCR ($65 each) because you’re set to auto-reject. There’s no way you’ll be accepted to UCD, UCI, or UCR, but UCM might.

You need 60 units (minimum) completed by Spring 2012 to be admitted to those 3 schools for Fall 2012 (beginning of next school year).

Most people complete 30 units 1 year prior to transfer. You need 30 minimum to submit a TAG, etc.

Ditto on what Hayward said.

When applying as a transfer anywhere, it’s always a good idea to read up on the school admissions websites to make sure you are academically eligible for admission.

No not two billion! Just some sort of computer glitch that I am too clueless in math to understand. I have had several brainiacs explain the meaning over the years on CC. ;)
