Hi I am currently a second semester freshmen at a community college in California. I am planning on visiting the University of Alabama this next fall. I was wondering if Alabama required community college students to transfer after they completed 60 college units or if I am allowed to transfer whenever I would like. If I can transfer without having to complete 60 college units I was wondering if I should transfer after my first semester of my sophomore year.

OMG - for a minute I thought you were my DD but she’ll have all GE courses + by next spring and dying to transfer SP '93. Like us, you must be getting nervous with our CA “freeze” – really depressing. She too will be checking out UA Parent’s Weekend. Son is currently there and very happy.

Can’t answer your question but wanted to wish you Good Luck.
