<p>Hi, I will start at TAMU this fall, and I want to transfer into biomedical engineering from microbiology. I emailed the biomed office and they told me I can apply for transfer after taking the required classes and a good gpa. If I complete the courses with good grades and good gpa, is the transfer accepted as soon as the paperwork is finished and processes? or they can reject my transfer petition? even if I met their requirements? Thank you</p>
<p>Yes they can reject it, but if you do very well they probably won’t. But keep in mind Biomed Eng is very hot right now and space is quite limited.</p>
