Transferring to BC

<p>I go to the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. I am aware that BC’s transfer acceptance rate is extremely low, and was just wondering if anybody could possibly chance me for acceptance in the fall of 2014. </p>

<p>I plan to apply for admission into CAS.
High school stats:
UW GPA: 3.7 (I know, it’s low), 3.98 W
ACT:
composite- 30
english- 34
math- 27
reading- 31
science- 29
writing- 9</p>

<p>College stats:
1st semester GPA- should be around a 3.9, not a tough course load
2nd semester GPA- hoping for around a 3.8, tougher course load
-will also be taking summer courses </p>

<p>ECs- was in many clubs in high school, volunteer around 2 hours weekly, in a service club at my current university. </p>

<p>Took 6 AP courses throughout high school. Passed all tests.</p>

-National Honor Society
-Student of the Semester
-AP Scholar with Distinction</p>

<p>Plan to study biology with a minor in neuroscience and of my letters of rec. is from a very well-known neurosurgeon who graduated from BC, if that helps anything.</p>
