My questions are:

1) How hard is it?
2) If I apply for junior standing, how much will my high school record matter? (cause it sucks)

3) Does Berkeley take ACTs for transfer students?

4) Does Berkeley require SAT II's?

3) Does Berkeley take ACTs for transfer students?

4) Does Berkeley require SAT II's?

1) Relatively difficult. You have to perform that much better than the 4.0's instate, in terms of having a competitive GPA and impressive statistics, EC's etc., overall. Especially for something like Haas.
2) Will not mater.
3) No.
4) No. I'm pretty sure.

Since Berkeley states that SAT scores are optional for transfers, if I choose not to submit them, will it qualify as an automatic rejection?

No.

Although if they are near perfect it would only help, right? But don't stress about it too much. It's not worth taking all over again.

Thanks for the help. I am going to transfer from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. Do these credits count as UC transferrable? If not then what does? Also what advice would you give to me in terms of ec's to beef up my application? (my major is molecular bio)

It is impossible to say what of your coursework will transfer to Berkeley . You can contact them so that they can give you the general type of courses that they want you to have to meet general education and major requirements but they would not give you course equivalents. .. they do that after you are admitted, they evaluate them course by course.

supindy- I suposse anything in research or tutoring or something like that. I'm not sure, just try to make it something you really care about or that interests you. Try to get creative with it. All the best. :)
