Transferring to Berkeley

So I'm a potential transfer student who is applying to Berkeley, and I was wondering
what tranfer life is like at Cal.

I've heard that tranfer students have a difficult time socializing, as transfer students are usually limited to socializing with other transfers.

Is this the case at Berkeley? How is the transfer living situation? Are there many opportunities to interact with other transfer students? Is the party scene geared towards 4-year students or would transfer kids be included as well?

Also, could any of you, estimate my chances of getting into Berkeley.
This isn't one of those "I want to flaunt my accomplishments while pretending to be concerned about my admission chances when I'm really just bragging about myself" posts,
but I am legitimately concerned about my chances.

Here are my stats:

3.96 GPA (UCLA, Physics)
Project RISHI Member (Volunteer organization)
HOPE for Homeless Tutor (Volunteer Organization)
Dean's Honor Role (4 times)

Special Relativity Independent Study
Created Website with academic articles and personal information

Thanks!

You’re in.

Just curious, why are you leaving UCLA? Is there something wrong with the school we should know about?

just play your cards close to the vest and you’ll be jet set.

I believe there are specific rules that prohibit Berkeley transfers from partaking in parties and other social activities at Berkeley. It’s just the stigma they have there. Transfer students are treated similar to the Jews in Nazi Germany. Ask around and you’ll find proof.

hahaaha touche Gold3n

but I’m transferring because I’m not very fond of the Los Angeles atmosphere
Westwood and the UCLA campus are great but the overall vibe of LA just doesn’t suit me
and I would prefer the more down to earth NorCal environment

Also UCLA hasn’t been too challenging for me and I was hoping to transfer to a school that
could push me to learn more
