Transferring to Brown

This might be a dumb question... but just out of curiosity is it usually harder or easier to transfer to BRown, than to get in as a freshman?

Apparently it used to be easier a few years back....
now it's harder than Harvard.

this year it was not harder than harvard. quite a few people got in from CC. I doubt it will be as easy to transfer next year b/c of the growing freshman applicant pool but who knows?

Harder to transfer in but it's relative, it's hard either way!

Why would the freshmen pool affect transfers anyway? I mean transfers usually enter into either their sophomore or junior year. I transfer spaces depend on retention rates.

housing crunch. they might want to admit a larger freshman class.

When colleges over enroll freshmen as several top ones did this year they cut back on transfers.

is anyone transferring to brown here?

how many usually get fall admission?

im probably going.

so basically if i was rejected applying from high school i ahve a really bad chance getting in as a transfer? or does it depend more on my grades fresh yr in college than hs records?

i think the more college credit you have the less emphasis will be placed on HS.
