So i have done two years at CSU Fresno, and have completed 63 units with a 3.20 GPA, and i am a civil engineering major. Due to a really weird/complex medical condition, i had to leave Fresno and i am now attending a junior college for a year then applying to cal poly slo this fall. I have heard that the average transfer GPA for CP slo is around 3.35, but im guessing the majority of these students have only completed around 30 units when applying. My question is, Will CP give a slight preference to me over other applicants because of all of the units i will have completed? By the time i leave the CC i will have around 87 units completed. Any advice? Anyone been in a similar transfer? Thanks
