My gpa is 3.1. I still am finishing my critical thinking class and math class but will be done by end of spring. Also by the end of spring I will receive the AA-T. What are my chances of getting into Fullerton, Long Beach and San Marcos?!

Are you at a California community college?
Are you able to TAG into any of the three (does your CC have it)?
What is your intended major?

I’ll need to hunt down some data sets for those three, since I have them mainly for UCs, but you should be able to get into at least one. I may be able to get you more specific and accurate answers, but a bit more information on the above three questions would help.

San Marcos is probably a go. But Long Beach is impacted for everything. Fullerton might be okay if you are at a California community college.

I am a sociology major. And TAG is only for UC’s.
Having the AAT will give me 0.1 extra on my GPA. I’d love some more info! Thank you!

And I do go to a local community college in Orange County.

I’m still not super sure about the accuracy of my data…I can’t find class data sets / much to base it on, so these are guesses:

Many (~70% in 2011-2012) of CSU Fullerton transfers come from Orange County. Their average GPA was around 3.1, and somewhere around 50% were admitted. It’s old data, but you’re very likely to be admitted.

I’m having a really hard time finding information for CSU San Marcos…but 3.2 GPA with ~65% admission rate for freshman for the last few years, so as a transfer student you’ll almost definitely be accepted.

I’m honestly not able to find much on CSULB. It’s harder than the other two, impacted for all majors, but you’re pretty strong. Definitely have a chance, but not as clear as the other two.

Good luck, and I hope that helps a bit!
