Transferring to College of William and Mary

Hello, I am hoping to create a discussion for anyone interested in transferring to W&M (like myself)

So could someone help me ? I am a freshman at a small, semi-selective college in Florida (55% acceptance rate). I was depressed in my senior year of high school so I never applied to anywhere I knew I couldn't get in, but now... The academics at my college are not to my quality from my high school, and it also doesn't offer minors that I'm interested in (French and Chinese; with a major in Economics). So I'm looking to apply to William and Mary as a sophomore this Fall, in 2014. I want to be a very competitive candidate. I am currently in the Honors Program, will have a 3.7 GPA by the end of this semester and am very involved in multiple organizations with positions, starting a new languages club on campus, work as a Student Ambassador giving tours and am even going to be an Orientation Leader in the fall for my college (ironic right ?), and I have an unpaid internship for the summer helping organize events in my city between ambassadors of third world countries (I want to do International Relations).

Will I be a competitive candidate considering that I am involved in much, and actually am passionate about what I am involved in ? Should I take a course like Calculus next semester (took it in high school, but not AP) or volunteer 100 hours over the summer ??
I know what I want to do now - and I know that W&M can help me.
Basically, what is the best way to be competitive for transferring (or at all) to the College of William and Mary ?

You are aware that the deadline for fall 2014 transfer admission was March 1, right? I am assuming maybe you are trying to apply for he spring 2025 semester? Without two full years of college work, your high school record will still carry a lot of weight. My son transferred to WM after his sophomore year at another university and really loved the school. Good luck!
