Transferring to Dartmouth

Hi guys, I was wondering what I should focus on during my sophomore year in order to get a good chance of getting into Dartmouth through transfer.

I was waitlisted and rejected by Dartmouth during my senior year in high school. It was extremely disappointing, but I'm going to try again.

I'm afraid my senior year in high school and my freshman year in college saw some disappointing grades, but I can still pull a 3.65 GPA (at most) at my university by the time the application for transfer is due in Spring 2009.

I think that GPA might be a stretch when competing with other very bright transfer applicants, but I'm sure if I worked hard on other important parts of the application... I could make it.

Does anyone have any experience with transferring to Dartmouth?

I really, really appreciate your help!

Which university are you attending right now? If it's a 3.65 at an ivy, I'd say you might have a chance.

And heh.. Torvald. Is that really your name or do you just like Ibsen?
