how easy difficult is it to transfer to an econ major in wcas if i get admitted to mccormick???

It's pretty easy to transfer to WCAS. If you get accepted, just write a letter to the dean explaining your situation and asking to transfer. I'm sure it won't be too much of a hassle. It's nice to see I'll have a little more competition in econ :)

WHat are you talking about? There is an abundance of econ majors at NU. Its one of the most popular majors in WCAS and our department is amazing, I think if you look around you will find your competition.

Debate, my comment was tongue-in-cheek. I realize that econ is the most popular major at Northwestern. I'll be in MMSS too so I'll have even more compeition. But of course I look forward to it.

The econ dept is ok; I wouldn't say it's great....

cancell this dbeate, the above applicant has been admitted to COrnell :)

which candidate dude i dint get in if ur referrin to me

Economics Department at Northwestern is fantastic but ONLY if you are really good in Econ. If you plan to major in econ but have never taken any econ courses in high school, you are in for a rude awakening. The Intro classes tend to be weed-outs for those who really know the material (and also good in math) and those who are only learning for the first time. THe program is very cutthroat and competitive so I'm just warning people. Huge curves are not uncommon. Not for the faint of heart.

oops i misread your cornell post my bad!! I thought ou had already gotten in..
