Transferring to Fordham from DePaul

Freshman at DePaul going into sophomore in the fall. I have mediocre SAT Scores (1700) and a bad High School GPA. I came to DePaul and have boosted my GPA. I am not happy by any means in this school and I am looking to transfer out. My ideal school would be Fordham University. I am currently standing at a 3.2 with extracurricular activities such as being part of a fraternity (Sigma Phi Epsilon) and some volunteer work at the local community shelter. I have talked to some of the admissions representatives of Fordham and they say that a 3.2 is fine as their minimum GPA requirement is a 3.0 for transfer students. However I just need some opinions from other students who have lived through the transfer process to ask the following question. Have I done enough to be able to transfer out of this school and into Fordham?

What college at Fordham do you want to transfer to? Will you be commuting or dorming?

I’m looking to join the Business School. I will most probably be dorming. But there still is a strong chance I commute if I manage to find an affordable place.

Might be a bit tough: your stats are below that of Gabelli admissions. Your good showing as a freshman is your good shoot. I would say apply for transfer and see what happens. Because of your admissions stats, don’t be surprised if you are offered little aid.
