<p>I go to a junior college in the bay area and i want to transfer to csuf (or mabbey long beach) for business. My GPA is 3.29 and i volanteer, and am in school clubs. What are my chances of getting in? Is it hard to get in to csuf?? Has anyone gotten in by transferring this year, and how did u do it(grades, community service, etc.). Also where is a good place to live in orange county if i do get in. I want to be close to school and close to irvine (family is there...).</p>
<p>Hey @mina2ninja! I was in the same spot as you this year. I’m currently attending SFSU in the bay area and I had about a 3.3-3.4 GPA and got accepted. 
CSU’s dont’ really take into consideration volunteer work or community service for transfer so I wouldn’t worry too much about that stuff. Just mostly you’re school work and grades and GPA. You do need to be an upper division transfer (Have 60 or more units) to transfer because CSUF doesn’t accept lower divisions. However, with your GPA I think/hope you would be fine because I was in the same boat and got in just fine. Good luck!</p>
