Hi! Right now I currently attend Savannah State University as a freshman majoring in electrical engineering. I would like to transfer to GA Tech after my sophomore year. I've checked on the Georgia Tech website for the transferable credits to make sure I take the courses I need before being able to enter GA Tech. I have questions though, I'm not really familiar with the whole transfer procedure. Do I have to retake my SAT/ACT? My scores where not high enough to enter Tech as a freshman. My unweighted GPA right now is a 3.875, if I keep my grades up will that help in the decision process? Or will my SAT/ACT scores have a say in it also? Do you all have any advice on what could make my application stand out? Like any extracurricular activities or anything? I also plan on talking to my academic adviser for help in understanding this whole process.
