transferring to ivy league univs

hey guys
im from india. currently studying at india's no. 1 engineering univ. indian institute of technology. im in my 2nd year and not enjoying it here. the focus on academics is too much and hrs. per week classes to high. i want to try for the ivy leagues, transfers. my acheivements: sat 1- 2290/2400, sat 2-2400/2400. i have a fair few acad. related acheivements but not many extra curricular acheivements. do you think i have any chance in bagging an ivy league.
is transfer even an option or can u transfer only after 1st yr. is over.
also, can i retain my credits earned?

ps: only post if u have personal experience. (a friend etc)

This information is given on each of the college websites.

You have a chance as long as in your Why Transfer? essay, you don’t say because you want to “bag” an Ivy.

You do realize that you’re posting on an Internet discussion board, people can say anything about their credentials, so the validity of any Chances response is suspect.

your best shot would be Cornell

applY TO YALE!!

Frankly, you will have a chance at an Ivy only if your are doing very well at iit, top 5-10% of your class.
