Transferring to MIT-2016

hi everyone,

i know chance threads are annoying but i couldn't resist myself from creating this one.
i'm an international freshman at one of the finest US universities (not an Ivy though). so far, i've stellar As in all of my classes and i expect to get a 4.0 at the end of 1st semester.I had 2120 on my SAT I and 1500/1600 on SAT II (physics and Maths 2). i plan to take the SAT Subject tests again in january, i'll probably score 1600/1600. i had pretty much good academic and extracurricular in both science and non-science field back in high school which landed me to my present university. and i also think i'll be getting good recommendation letters from my college professors.
I think MIT is my only fit and really wanna go there. i'm also aware of the fact that anyone applying to MIT (transfer/regualar) has something stellar about him/her such as grades and ECAs and that the number of transfer applicants admitted to MIT each year is in single figure.
does being an international at a reputed US university with good scores help?
With my above mentioned stats, is it worth applying to MIT as a transfer student?

ohh c’mon guys, a 100 views and not a single reply.
please help me!

All we can tell you is to try, nothing to lose and MIT to gain.

Oooh well worded, crazymomster.

Abe laaure, apply kar aur khud dekh le :D

Probably not getting in

what are your ec’s? what makes you stand out?

@KingsXI:
what a sensible reply! you must be some genius!

@hpyscm: as a freshmen, i haven’t been much into ECAs other than being a member of a bunch of clubs. I had a good science related ECAs back in high school though. can I put those too? i thought i needed recent ones!
