Transferring to NC State

I am currently a sophomore at a community college. My freshman year I attended East Carolina university and then decided to come home and get my associate's degree due to financial reasons. My college gpa is somewhere around 3.0 and I plan to transfer to NC State in the fall for nutrition science. my sat in high school was a 1590/2400. I've already been accepted to Appalachian State... What are my chances?

As far as transfering in for the fall, you can still get your application in I would suggest you wait until the fall to apply, because nc state accepts people buy the amount of space they have avaliable for the college you are applying to. Remember at Nc state you apply to the university and the college of your major. If I were you I’d apply for next spring, make sure your application and transcripts are in by the end of the summer. The early bird catches the worm. As far as SAT scores and high school gpa they really don’t care about that for transfer students. They just want to see that you have satisified the MCR (minium course requirments) like all your englishs, math, sciences, foriegn languages etc. These are the trasfer requirments you need to get into the college of agriculture and life sciences (the college that your major is in at NC state) Hope this helped.

Well I’ve already applied. I applied in early February and have yet to receive word about it. I am making straight A’s this semester and I will have an associate’s degree at the end of this school year. Currently, I’m taking microbio, sociology, college algebra, nutrition, and a physical education class.

Can anyone help me?
