I am currently a sophomore at NYU majoring in Media/Culture/Communications. I have decided to attempt a transfer to Northwestern for the winter quarter - the quarter after the Winter break. My GPA is over 3.7 and I don't have much activities other than two modest internships that I did over the past two summers. My question is: in terms of acceptance rate, does it matter the quarter in which you decide to request admission?

yo man I'm in the same boat. For The School of Communication though you can only apply for the fall semester, you can't start in winter

bumptity bump bump

bumplestiltskin

actually i am sure that you can transfer for the winter quarter. I contacted the department once and they did not mention that I will be unable to transfer for that quarter. I guess I ll have to ask them again to be sure.

yeah I'm pretttty sure you can't transfer for the winter quarter. If I'm wrong I'll eat my hat
