Transferring to nyu

I want to transfer to a lot schools here is a short list
NYU
Boston university
UC Irvine
UC San Diego
Fordham
Columbia (legacy)
Brown
Penn state
And plenty of others.

I have middle SATs and bad high school record.

Currently have a 3.5 and will probably have a 3.6 after this semester plus a couple of winter classes to maybe bring it to a 3.7ish at a community college.
ECs:
Volunteer at hospital
Competitive rock climbing
Tutoring
Co-organize and participate in a pick up sports league
Fundraise for cancer

What are my chances?
I'm a neuroscience major
I am not in-state in California so tag won't apply.

And one more thing what gpa should I have for these schools?

Emory Rice and Bucknell also. I have been given an ultimatum by the way ranked 100 or I pay for it and have no where to live until I graduate. It sounds rough but that’s how my parents are strict like that. So if you know schools that would be good for me and have my major I am all ears.

I was rejected from Columbia and Brown with a GPA of a 3.8 after 65 credits from a top 35 school. I did a lot of ECs at my first school.

So, to get into the top schools, I’d say you should have a near perfect GPA.

Yeah I dont really expect to get in there I really want to go to boston university nyu or Bucknell so if anyone knows about their average GPAs that’s great!

I can help with BU and NYU.

I know a few people that got into BU with around a 3.5 GPA. They were people who transferred from state schools and community colleges.

And NYU, I know people who got in with around a 3.6-3.7 from less selective schools.

Whats your major? How many credit hours will you have by the time you transfer?

Your parents aren’t awful people, but I do admire their style though.

I am a second semester freshman so I would be applying as a second semester sophomore. I would also like to apply to northeastern I heard it’s relativitely easy to transfer into and a good school. I will have 25 credits and may take a another class during the winter before apps are due in. And as much as it pains me for full disclosure I have a GED. I am not stupid it was just bad circumstances.
