I have grown up in Ohio and I am planning to transfer to Ohio State main campus for fall of 2018, but I’m not sure of my chances for getting in. I finished my fall 2017 semester with a 2.1 GPA and have 18 credits overall. I’m at another state school in Ohio right now, and I’m involved in clubs.
What I understand, you will need 30 credits to be considered a transfer student. All pre-requisite courses must have a C- or better. I assume you will have 30 credits after this semester at your current college. All schools within OSU have different enrollment criteria requirements based on your major/area of study. The business school states a 3.0 GPA, Health & Rehab 2.5 GPA, etc. There is a section dedicated just for transfers that explains this. Do not hesitate to contact admissions, also, they are very helpful. If you are sure you want to transfer from your current school, consider applying to another school, too. Another school where transfer requirements may be a little easier. Good luck!
