Thanks! It’s been almost four weeks since I’ve heard from them but hopefully I get in! Otherwise I may have to do community college there
Hey! Did they ever send you a email saying your admissions decision was posted?
I had trouble with my credit hours and what not but had things waived.
My application was officially completed February 4th and I just heard back today by checking the portal that I was accepted!
I had a 3.5 gpa last semester and after this semester should have 30 credit hours + 9 hours from AP credit
Wow that was fast, congratulations! I’m going into my 4th week of waiting which seems odd. I have a 4.0 and will also have 30 units by the end of this year as well but who knows. What major did you apply as?
I actually had sent in the majority of my materials in October and have been going back and forth with them for months about what else I needed so its been a relief lol.
I’m currently a civil engineer but I applied to health information management & systems, which is in the school of health and rehabilitation sciences.
As have I, but hopefully I’ll hear back from them soon. Again, congratulations on the acceptance!
I am an in-state transfer applicant from an Ohio University Regional Campus, I am a freshman so I am only applying with
16 completed credit hours (including Calculus if it helps) I have a 3.44 College GPA, a 4.1 weighted high school GPA (3.65 unweighted) and a 26 on my ACT. I have a professor that teaches at both my OU branch and at Ohio State and I am considering asking her to write a letter of recommendation as well although it is not required. Do I have a good chance of getting in?
You’ll definitely be fine. People get in with lower gpas and I dont think they care for high school stats as much as they did senior year of high school. You definitely have a better chance then most because of being an in-state applicant
@Cecilialok Did you get a response yet?!?!?!
No I’m still waiting! It’s insane, I don’t know why it’s taking so long. It’s making me so nervous
@Cecilialok I would definitely reach out to them & just tell them you need to know an admission decision in order to decide how you will go about your future if denied/accepted (hopefully accepted!!!)
I did! I’ve called and emailed them every week but they keep telling me to wait. They told me it would come out this Thursday, but then I called yesterday and they told me to wait another 2 weeks ugh
@Cecilialok, my daughter’s application was complete on 2/1, we are still waiting.
That makes me feel a lot better! What major did she apply for?
Food business management
Ah ok. I think thats the same college I applied to because I applied as an animal science major, so maybe it has something to do with that. She’s a transfer student right?
It’s agriculture and she is an instate transfer. I think the hold up maybe freshman RD was Feb 1. My oldest is a junior at OSU, so we are used to the wait game. I have never heard of anyone being denied for a transfer. Hang in there.
Ah ok, thank you! Good luck to your daughter as well!
Application submitted Jan. 27th, finished Mar. 1, (HS had some trouble sending transcript) Admitted Mar. 8th!!! Super excited
Congrats!! Also did you ever receive an email notifiying you about the status update? Or did you just check the portal?
