Transferring to OSU from Columbus State

Hello!
I am applying for Spring 2016 semester at OSU, after earning 30 credit hours in 2 semesters at CSCC. I made huge mistakes in high school and dropped out of Muskingum University within the first week in Autumn of 2014. I have been working to get 30 credit hours (where they don’t look at your high school transcript for admission) after being denied the first time around when they looked at my HS transcipt. I’ve been working closely with a transfer admissions counselor, but I wanted to hear from you guys. What are your experiences with transferring from CSCC/another Ohio college? I have a 3.1 GPA, but also documented learning disabilities both CSCC and OSU are aware of.

I’ll be a sophomore at OSU within a week and I had a 2.8 GPA and 26 ACT. I did my freshman year at ODU and then finished my summer semester at C state a few weeks ago, thus I have about 28 credit hours. I think you’ll be fine because if I can get in with a lower GPA, I am sure you can. Be mindful, my application had several extracurricalars that really helped me: Toastmasters International, Dale Carnegie Course, Business Affiliate, Eagle Scout…

If you see yourself at OSU, I would keep up the good work with the grades and perhaps throw in a few personal development extracurricular like Toastmasters or Dale Carnegie. Nevertheless, I think you have this in the bag!
