transferring to small liberal arts school

As a high school student I finished in the top 25% of my class at a large and pretty competitive high school.
I had a 3.4sh gpa with an 1210/1600SAT ( I went through some personal problems that I believe prevented me from living up to my potential)
I was president of my class three consecutive years, involved with a couple other clubs and a member of the national honor society.
I had a part time job, had extensive volunteer hours with school/community.
Great recommendations from school/church and was given a community service award by a local legislator at the end of senior year.

At a local and well respected community college I have raised my GPA to a 3.84 and was elected to serve on the executive board of the student government while being an active member of the Political Science Club. I work part-time and continue to volunteer.

So Haverford is without a doubt my dream school and College of the Holy Cross is a close second....I would apply as a transfer and enter as a junior polysci major.

Do I have a shot? and anyone with some first hand info about Haverford or Holy Cross that is interesting would be greatly appreciated.......i was also wondering how religious Holy Cross is overall?

Religion is readily available at Holy Cross but not compulsory in any way. It is a Jesuit college just like Georgetown, BC, Fordham, etc.
