Transferring to smu after bad grades in HS?

If a prospective student did terribly in highschool, yet managed to graduate a semester early her senior year and continued on to community college during the spring, if she applied to smu as a transfer (during spring semester) with 22 hours(because she was dual credit in HS) having been completed by the end of the spring semester, would she have a shot at getting into smu?

Would her bad grades in HS ruin her chances? The bad grades were from her freshman and sophomore year, but they still did their damage -_-

Thanks.

Take at least 8 credits over the summer to make 30 credits. THEN, you will have a great shot at getting in  (Strive for the highest GPA possible)
