Hi! I’m an international freshman at UT Dallas who recently paid a visit to TAMU and was immediately impressed with the culture and people here, after which I seriously considered the transferring possibility. I would need at least $4000 funding from competitive scholarships if I want to make that comes true, and I really appreciate any ideas or suggestions that you may have (sources of scholarships other than those posted on the school website, my chance of admissions and scholarships, etc.).
Some potentially useful info: Mechanical Engineering major, SAT 1470, GPA HS 9.0/10 (4.0), GPA college 3.98, SAT Physics 700 and Math II 800, many volunteering and leadership positions in high school, 3 engineering orgs at UTD (possible leadership positions in sophomore year), undergrad research assistant at a research lab, and full-tuition scholarship at UTD.
