transferring to the U

Well because of financial situations at my current school, carleton college, I will be transferring after my fall term. Does anyone know or have any advice about the procedure. I am only able to transfer to College of Liberal arts, I got a 27 on my ACT, had a high school gpa of 3.4, was in the top 10% of my class of 676, etc. I know I will also have to send in my fall term transcripts.

honestly those scores won’t guarantee you will get in, what is your college gpa?

Plumney1, I believe he is an incoming freshman at Carleton.
I would recommend doing everything within your power to ensure that you will get at the very least, a 3.0 GPA at Carleton. Since the U is extremely score oriented, a high fall GPA is a necessity.
I am in a similar boat to you, only I am going to Macalester College and may transfer simply because I already have 33 credits at the U, which overcompensates for Macalester’s generous financial aid.
