I would like to apply to transfer to Notre Dame for the fall semester of 2014. I have so many questions to ask and transfer@nd.edu has yet to respond. This is understandable, but some of my questions deal with what classes I should choose at my current institution for the spring semester of 2013. Any responses from anyone that has even a minute amount of knowledge on transferring to this university, would be extremely helpful!

Go to the Academics tab on nd.edu. Click on First Year Studies and that will give you a guide as to what ND expects you to have taken as a freshman in order to be on track. The transfer website also has admission statistics for both first year and transfer admissions.

ejcclc- I have looked at both of those pages and although they are both helpful, they do not answer my specific questions. For example, if I have taken more than one social science class, could one of them just be transferred as an elective? Also. I have taken an introductory speech/public speaking class, could that be transferred as an elective? There are some classes I am sure will transfer and others I am not.
