<p>can someone apply for transfer admissions to a UC, get accepted, and then put off that acceptance of a year?</p>
<p>suppose they are accepted for fall 07, can they plan on attending, but put it off until fall of 08?</p>
<p>For Berkeley, you cannot defer admission.</p>

<p>i was thinking i'd apply to davis and berkeley next year, if rejected to berkeley, reapply the next year but still hold on to davis lol basically wondering if i can have my cake and eat it too i guess</p>
